Having graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a diploma in Hospitality and Tourism, Yiting later pursued a degree with Murdoch University in Marketing & Media. Upon graduation, she worked in F&B as a sales and marketing executive. Her next engagement was in Panasonic Singapore where she fulfilled the role of a Product Executive for 3 years, managing Beauty & Health portfolio. During this period, she built up her portfolio in retail whilst undertaking marketing activities and campaigns, managing inventory, profit & loss, and a pool of promoters. Under Yiting’s current role, she’s given the opportunity to assist aspiring entrepreneurs to fulfil their ambitions and SMEs to achieve their business goals.

In the past months, Yiting has been supporting me primarily on my application for Enterprise Singapore’s EDG. The grant process is long and not quite straightforward. I had a lot of questions on what the requirements really expected (and what exactly was warranted), and what I needed to prepare and include/not include. Yiting provided a lot of guidance, from her past experience and knowhow about the process, and also nuances which may not be apparent from the list of requirements. We got on several calls, in addition to emails and text messages, never once did I encounter a hint of impatience or ‘oh my god, really?’ vibe from her. I had also forwarded queries on other types of grants to her, some which were not even under her purview, and wherever she could, she would provide her connections without hesitation (eg IPOS, internship programs).
Yiting is definitely my go-to person for support and advice regarding government initiatives for SMEs. She has proven to be a highly dependable, trusted and effective collaborator, a pivotal part of my company’s journey at this crucial juncture of our development.
